CNC

I need panels, templates or supports

Machining for rigid parts, fixtures and components, subject to material and geometry.

CNC Routing

Process specifications

Format 2.44 x 1.22 m
Rigid substrates MDF, wood, PVC, foams, aluminum
Ideal use Panels, fixtures, templates
  • 2.44 x 1.22 m CNC workflow for panels, templates, fixtures, and structural parts.
  • Designed for rigid materials and applications where flatness and repeatability matter.
  • Compatible with MDF, wood, PVC, technical foams, aluminum, and selected engineering plastics.
  • Final quality depends on tooling, toolpath strategy, fixturing, and post-processing.

Materials

  • MDF
  • Wood
  • PVC
  • Foams
  • Aluminum
  • Engineering plastics

Technical process details

Designed for panels, templates, fixtures, and components where rigidity, flatness, and repeatability matter.

It supports 2.44 x 1.22 m substrates, aluminum, and engineering plastics with a more structural manufacturing logic than 3D printing.

Final quality depends on toolpath strategy, tooling, fixturing, and the amount of post-processing allowed.

Typical outcomes

  • Panels
  • Fixtures
  • Molds
  • Structural components

What you can request

  • Structural plates, panels, molds, templates, bases, brackets, and custom cuts.
  • Drone parts, compatible carbon fiber, engineering plastics, MDF, wood, and acrylic.
  • Engraving, slotting, 2D, 2.5D, and some 3D work depending on geometry.

What we need to quote

  • DXF, STEP, SVG, or technical drawing with dimensions.
  • Material, thickness, quantity, critical tolerances, and end use.
  • Specify whether you need only cutting, engraving, roughing, slotting, or additional finishing.

Important limitations

  • Final accuracy depends on tooling, fixturing, toolpath strategy, and material stability.
  • Some materials or thicknesses require tests before confirming edge quality or tolerance.
  • Very fine details may need redesign to avoid vibration or breakage.

Which file formats do you accept: STL, 3MF, STEP, DXF or SVG?

For 3D printing we review STL, STEP, 3MF and OBJ files. For laser work you can share DXF, SVG, PDF, AI or a reference image; for CNC, DXF, STEP, SVG or a dimensioned drawing. The format and any necessary adjustments are reviewed for the process: an image or reference does not automatically replace a manufacturing-ready file.

3D printing, materials and finishes

What accuracy and tolerances can I expect?

Tolerances are defined for each project and depend on the process settings. In FDM 3D printing, they can vary with layer height and nozzle size, among other factors. Share your part’s critical dimensions and fit requirements so tolerances can be reviewed before manufacturing is confirmed.

Laser and CNC

Can I provide my own materials or objects for personalization?

Yes, we can accept customer-supplied materials or objects for cutting, engraving or personalization. Share the material type, thickness, dimensions and desired finish so we can review compatibility with the process before confirming the work.

Which files, measurements and specifications do you need for CNC work?

Share a DXF, STEP, SVG or dimensioned technical drawing, plus the material, thickness, quantity and intended use. Specify critical tolerances and dimensions and the operations required, such as cutting, slotting or engraving. We review the geometry, tooling and workholding limitations before confirming manufacture.
